It’s time for another Black Ops custom class again. This time it’s based around a shotgun, the Stakeout to be specific. Thanks Cise for contributing this class.
I personally love to run Lightweight and Marathon and play VERY aggressively with this class. On a map like Summit you can make it down the middle before the other team and catch them off guard and get those few early kills in. The key to running the Stakeout correctly is quick scoping (yes quick scoping lol)! The gun has amazing accuracy when zoomed in and the spread is nice and tight allowing for medium ranged kills that can make FAMAS and AK74u fanboys cry. If you find yourself on the defense drop your jammer and let the hunt begin. Sleight of Hand is instrumental with this class due to the 4 shot max, but that certainly isn’t a draw back. Cise, thanks for contributing! Like the class a lot!
I thought I’d post one of my shotgun classes for all you shotgun fans.
This is a class meant for moving around, not necessarily fast or silently, just being mobile. What you want to do is try and figure out the parts of each map where it’s mostly CQB (close quarter combat). Pretty much every map in Black Ops has the possibility to move from one end to the other without being in the open too much. Read the rest of this entry »
In a a previous post, titled ‘Basic playing styles’ I distinguish roughly four playing styles: camping, playing defensively, playing stealthy and rushing. Now I’d like to share some thoughts about playing defensively. In my opinion, this type of playing style is often overlooked by players, not only because they will be called ‘camper’ but also because it requires some more patience and sometimes more thought. Read on to gather some tips on how to play defensively in the Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer.
